Jackie offers play therapy and counseling to children, teens, and families. Jackie has worked under Kate Weir since May of 2021 to develop her child-centered play therapy skills and continues to be under her supervision to become a registered play therapist.  Jackie obtained her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stephens College in December of 2021. 

 

Jackie believes in the mind-body connection and works to address the whole being. Jackie also believes that it is important having parents be a part of the process to incorporate the entire family system when working with children. Other counseling modalities utilized are person-centered, attachment, mindfulness, and dialectical behavioral therapy (formally trained). Jackie has experience working with posttraumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, coping with life changes, and suicidal and self-injurious behaviors.
